Rainbow Grief Support

We Help Individuals, Families and Communities Live Well with Loss.

Rainbow Grief Support is one of the most important services we provide. Our bereavement counselors work closely with anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one, whether on our hospice program or not.

Their outreach takes many forms including phone calls, one-on-one visits, facilitation of regular support groups, a monthly blog, and hosting of special programs like our annual memorial service and holiday grief events.

Attend a Rainbow Grief Support Group.

Rainbow Bereavement Counselor Laura Wessels hosts Monday Morning Joe every Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Community Education Room (Lower Level) of the Rainbow Hospice Care Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. Please park in the Lower Level- parking lot and enter through the right door of the patio.

Rainbow Bereavement Counselor Hilary Furnish hosts an Honoring Grief Six Week Support Group at the IPC. This group meets each Monday during the spring and fall from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. This group will focus on helping acknowledge, honor, and better understand grief and loss. Registration is required. Call (920) 674-6255 for more information or to register.

Stop by our Rainbow Memorial Garden in Johnson Creek.

In 2022, we dedicated a newly designed Memorial Garden outside the Rainbow Hospice Care Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. Among its beautiful features is a hardwood forest, many decorative plantings, granite benches, pergolas, a water feature, fire pit, and walking path adorned with 3,000 bricks of varying sizes, several inscribed with names and special messages to loved ones.

Anyone is welcome to visit this sacred outdoor space to remember and honor the important people in their lives and gather for healing, reflection and solitude.
